Royston children enjoy pirate storytelling session at museum

Children went along to Royston's district museum on Thursday last week for a swashbuckling storytelling session.

She had some fun crafty activities for kids too and there were lots of colourful pirate hats and treasure maps. The children also enjoyed hunting around the upstairs gallery of the museum looking for pictures.
Alex, who has her own business called alexshows, said “It was a really good turnout. The children were engaged with the stories and creative with the crafts.”
Museum assistant Amy Judd said: “It was another brilliant storytelling event with Alex. She gets all the children involved and feeling like part of the story.
“It’s wonderful to see families joining in and having fun in the museum. A big thank you to Alex for putting on the show and a huge thank you to the families who came along. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again at more of our crafty events.”
