Police have arrested a man on suspicion of drugs offences in Royston.

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of drugs offences in Royston.


A man has been arrested in Royston town centre on suspicion of possession of class A and B drugs with intent to supply.

The 22-year-old was arrested in Lower King Street in the town for ‘intending to supply cocaine and cannabis’ after officers stopped a vehicle at about 5.45pm on Thursday last week, a force spokeswoman has now confirmed.

The man, from Royston, was also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. He has since been bailed by police.
