Royston man in 50s taken to hospital with suspected broken leg after falling from horse

A man has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after falling from a horse in Royston this morning.
The ambulance service received a call at 7.45am to Baldock Road in Royston.
An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance from Cambridge all attended and treated a man in his 50s.
He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge by land ambulance for further treatment and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
