Homemade cakes and hot tea were dished out at the Old Bull Inn in Royston on Friday, to celebrate a valued North Herts Hospice’s 25 anniversary.
The event was held in aid of the Garden House Hospice, and went down a treat with the community.
Jo Wiffen, who has been fundraiser for eight years for the hospice, said that she would like to thank the many people that had taken the time to attend and support the charity, which has a retail outlet in the town.
She said: “ I think this is a really great idea. I love it.”
The Garden House Hospice, based in Letchworth, provides a drop-in service, out-patient care and day hospice for people living in North Herts and Stevenage.
