ADMINISTRATORS have been called in at a troubled Royston firm.
Work is underway to find a buyer for JK Environmental, which has its head office in Orchard Road, Royston.
The waste disposal firm went into administration on July 20.
A statement on the firm's website from joint administrators Simon Bower and Matt Haw, of Baker Tilley restructuring, said: "For the time being the group will continue to trade as normal under our control."
JK Environmental is the latest Royston firm to feel the affects of the recession. Job cuts were announced at Johnson Matthey and LDS earlier this year, while staff at Thermal Engineering have been forced to take a cut in working hours.
