Royston firefighter's 20 years honoured

A FIREFIGHTER has been recognised for 20 years of service.
Haydn James, who is based at Royston fire station in Baldock Street, picked up a long service award from Dave Harold, district commissioner for Stevenage and North Herts.
Royston station commander Sean Comerford said: "Firefighter James is one of the longest serving members of the Royston crews and it is a proud moment for him and his family to see his service recognised by this award."
Mr Harold added: "Recognising more than 20 years service to the community of Hertfordshire by presenting this medal to one of our personnel is one of the nicer parts of the job.
