A date has been announced for the reopening of a Royston doctors surgery which closed due to flooding back in May.

Market Hill Surgery shut after a flood affected all floors of the building, leaving it in a dangerous position with electrical equipment damaged.

A building contractor has been carrying out repair works since August, with patients attending Barley Surgery in the meantime.

A statement from Barley Practice – which runs the surgery – confirmed Market Hill will reopen on Monday, November 30, and said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our patients for your continued support and patience during this very difficult time and look forward to seeing you in our newly refurbished surgery.”
