Officers investigating a spate of thefts from vehicles in Royston have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to as part their enquiries.

The incidents, which are being linked, happened between December 16, 2017 and Wednesday last week.

The most recent occured in Morton Street, at around 3.20am on June 6, where change was stolen from a purse inside a vehicle.

In Mill Road – between 10pm on June 5 and 7.15am the following day – thieves removed a HP laptop, CDs, an Apple tablet and a Cannon printer.

There were two incidents in Donne Close – on Monday, January 8 at around 2.40am, CDs and cash were stolen from an unlocked car, and between 2.45am and 2.50am an offender was seen trying door handles of a vehicle.

In Serby Avenue, between 3.15am and 3.20am also on January 8, an offender was seen trying door handles of a vehicle.

And in Heathfield - at around 4.45am on Saturday, December 16, cash was stolen from an unlocked car.
