A BABY born in the back of a moving car has received a belated birthday gift from a garage.
As reported in the Crow earlier this month, parents Paul and Corin Stokes, from Royston, named their new arrival Lyla May Zafira Stokes after she was born in the family’s Vauxhall Zafira on the way to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
After spotting the story in the Crow, the team at Murketts Vauxhall dealership in Royston decided to present Mrs Stokes with a bouquet of flowers and a free service for her vehicle.
“Thinking up names for children is always a tricky decision for any parents,” said Stuart Wright from Murketts.
“We are delighted that Mr and Mrs Stokes took inspiration from one of our top-selling models.”
