Staff at a Royston barbers shop have joined a nationwide haircutting collective united in its aim to remove the stigma surrounding male mental health.
Hair snippers at Carlo and Co have joined the Lions Barber Collective, a UK wide initiative to lend an ear to customers suffering from mental health problems.
General manager Phil Jarman said: “People open up to barbers. We are not just there to cut people’s hair, we are there to help. We know about what services are available in the local area.”
