Year 5 pupils from Roysia and Greneway middle schools came together on Thursday last week for a range of team-building activities.
The day started in the hall with music teacher Shaunaid Crosby teaching the children a song called Be The Change, which they performed to all the adults in the room at the end.
Following this, the children were challenged to create the tallest standing tower possible from straws, paper and tape in their groups and then enjoyed some rounders on the field.
The sporting activities concluded with the children competing in their groups against one another in a relay race.
To finish off the day, the winning groups were announced for the relay and the tower competition.
