Parents were invited into Roman Way First School to help make a poppy with their children last week.
Each child, from nursery through to Year 4, made their own poppy using a variety of different materials.
The poppies were then planted into the school grounds to make a temporary poppy field.
And then on Friday, after a special remembrance assembly, the children formed a procession through the poppy field to mark the occasion.
