A WOMAN had money, believed to be around 2,000, snatched from her bag in a busy Royston bank on Wednesday afternoon.
Five police officers in three cars were called to Barclays in the High Street at 3.20pm. There have been no arrests as yet.
The bank was closed soon after. The victim and witnesses were taken to Royston Police Station to give statements.
One witness told The Crow: “A man pushed past me and took some money from a handbag. It looked like he had been watching her and waiting to pounce.”
