Our 2010 review continues with September
IT’S the time of year to cast our eyes back over the last 12 months, and pick out the highs and lows of a year of Royston news.

September
23 – Reality TV personality Paul Danan was ordered to pay �350 for two counts of drug possession in Royston.

The former Hollyoaks actor, who had recently moved to Royston, pleaded guilty to possession cannabis and cocaine at Stevenage Magistrates Court.
Police had been alerted to his behaviour twice in one day, after he was first seen staggering around Kneesworth Street, and then causing a disturbance at a block of flats.

9 – Royston war memorial was damaged when a bronze crow was ripped from its foundations.
23 – The HSBC bank on Melbrourn Street was ram-raided, but nothing was stolen.
