MEMBERS of the Ashwell and Morden Rail User Group shocked readers in November, stripping down to just their socks.

Protesting against First Capital Connect's decision to stop fast trains into London calling at the station, five commuters braved the cold and showed the lengths they were willing to go to get their point across.

One naked commuter told The Crow: "We are going to substantial efforts to keep our train and we wanted to show the people at First Capital Connect that we are determined and they will see just how we feel about losing our service."

The rail user group's protest against the company has also involved a children's protest, and filling a neighbouring station's car park with their vehicles, while catching the fast train from there.
