THE first Barking Mad dog training fun day was a res-hound-ing success when it was held last at the end of last September (26).
Royston Town Mayor Cllr Martin Beaver opened the show, then took his dog off to have a try at the agility course.
Other attractions on offer included pedigree and novelty show classes, judged by Ruth Lewis of Valasarch Kennels. There was also a ball bingo game, a field search and a strongest dog competition, at the event next to the cemetery on The Causeway, Bassingbourn.
Barking Mad’s Karen Scott said: “Despite the rain, a good time was had by people and their dogs. All the activities were participated in well.
“I am very happy with the success of the day. It was a great first fun day and I am looking forward to holding more in the future.”
