THOSE who were killed during the Falklands war of 25 years ago were remembered on Sunday.
Members of the Royston branch of the Royal British Legion along with the public gathered for a short service at the Royston War Memorial.
The Mayor of Royston, Cllr Peter Lill - the only member of Royston Town Council to attend the service - lay one of the wreaths.
Joe McDonald, chairman of the Royston branch, and Chris Murphy, chairman of the Royston Royal Air Forces Association, also placed wreaths at the memorial.
The service was conducted by the vicar of Royston, the Rev Leslie Harman.
