The guests from Once Upon a Bus went along to Reed First School to retell Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory through actors, puppets, ‘magic keys’ to unlock their imaginations and wonderful story tellers for the event – which was funded by the Friends of Reed School.

FORS chair Char Eeeles said: “For a small school we offer big opportunities.

“The children having a fun and enriching experience while at school is central to all we aim to achieve.

“Once Upon a Bus was the perfect way for the children to explore their love of storybooks while letting their imaginations run wild.”
