LOOK what creepy-crawled its way into The Crow’s office this week (Tuesday).

A privet hawk moth, one of the rarest moths in the UK, was found in the garden of Harry Free, of Field Crescent, Royston.

“I was preening my lilac tree and it was just sat there nibbling a leaf,” said Mr Free.

“I’m in love with it. It’s a beautiful little thing. I took it up to see my wife and she nearly dropped her tea!”

The moths have a wingspan on 12cm and are found in Europe, North America and Australia.
