YOUNGSTERS skipped into action to raise money for the British
Heart Foundation.
Pupils at Meldreth Primary School have been learning skipping skills in physical education lessons and have enjoyed it so much that it has become a regular activity at playtimes and lunch times.
So PE co-ordinator Sue Evans decided to organise a sponsored jump rope to raise money for the charity, and teachers and pupils 'jumped' at the chance to be involved.
Mrs Evans said: "The whole school has been improving their exercise levels, including
the staff.
"It is great that we have all been maintaining healthy hearts through regular
exercise, while raising funds for the British Heart Foundation's life-saving work."
