PUPILS at Steeple Morden Primary School have had a puzzling time.
And it wasn't just the snow that was confusing the pupils, but a series of maths challenges set to coincide with the school's maths week.
Kate Hall, maths co-ordinator at the school, said: "We had the Happy Puzzle Company in, who set the children a series of exercises and games surrounding number patterns.
"It was really useful to them, because not only did they get to work on their maths skills, but they had to communicate well and work in the teams.
"I think the children really enjoyed it because we mixed them up a bit and they got the chance to work with pupils from other classes.
