A FORMER pupil at Therfield Village School has returned to cut the ribbon on a new sundial.
Two years ago Aimee Wenlock, who now attends Roysia Middle School in Royston, was one of a number of pupils involved in a project to create a garden at the school.
Teacher Christine Taylor said: "When Amy left she donated a gift voucher which she specifically asked be spent on something for the garden.
"We decided on a sun dial and felt it would be fitting that Amy came back to unveil it.
"She was one of many children who put a lot of hard work into designing and building the garden."
The sun dial was specially made for Therfield School and features an inscription commemorating the occasion.
