PUBLICANS in Buntingford are being asked to join forces to tackle anti-social behaviour.
Police have outlined a scheme called Pubwatch to publicans in the hope of reducing alcohol-related crime and disorder.
Inspector Andy Piper from the area neighbourhood policing team, said: "Pubwatch is an initiative which is used across the county and allows us to work together with publicans and authorities to enable us to reduce alcohol-related disorder."
The initiative would involve pubs in the town sharing information about throublemakers.
Landlord of Fox and Duck, Julien McKinely, said: "I think its a good idea as long as everyone abides by it.
