A PROBE into the killing of a 23-year-old man outside a Lincoln nightclub is ongoing.
The police review into the death of William Pleasants, of Barrington, was launched after an inquest last year found he was unlawfully killed.
He travelled to the city for his girlfriend’s 21st and was kicked out of the Engine Shed after an altercation on the dance floor.
He was restrained by door staff in the early hours of October 4, 2008, and stopped breathing.
Mr Pleasants was under the influence of several drugs, including ketamine and died in hospital three days later.
Six members of door staff were originally arrested on suspicion of assault, then manslaughter. No charges were brought.
Lincolnshire Police told The Crow the review could take several months to complete.
