Staff at Royston and Villages Children’s Centre have praised a craft shop owner for making funky knitted breasts for them to use in breastfeeding classes and drop-in sessions.

The designs, made by Laura Whitford of No.3 Royston in Melbourn Street, have been a huge hit with staff, midwives, health visitors and mums.

“We’re so thankful for them and for all Laura’s hard work helping us to support families in our area on their journey to successful breastfeeding,” said Sammy Lewis from the centre.

“It’s great our groups can be brightened up by some wacky boobies!”

The classes run at the centre on Burns Road on Tuesdays from 11am to 12.15pm.
