Police have released images of power tools they believe were stolen in the Cambridgeshire area in a bid to find the owners.

Officers recovered the items from a vehicle they stopped in Cambridge on Monday and as a result a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.

The 19-year-old man was later released on police bail to return to Parkside Police Station on November 24. The 27-year-old man remains in custody.

Those wishing to claim the items will need to provide proof of purchase as well as knowing serial numbers or distinguishing marks.

Information on the date the items were stolen and crime numbers would also be useful. To claim an item, call 101 and ask to speak to PC Secker.
