A POST office van almost destroyed a garage in a collision earlier today.
Structural engineers had to be called to make the garage safe following the incident, which occurred just before 3pm near the junction of York Way and Minster Road, Royston.
Police officers and fire fighters attended the incident, while an ambulance was called but not required.
The driver of the van was taken to Lister Hospital in a response car with minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
