The head was found in a village field close to a cemetery on Tuesday. A severed leg was found on farmland near Cottered on March 22 and part of a forearm was discovered on a grass verge in Wheathampstead last Sunday.
Today officers from the joint Herts and Beds police major crime unit travelled to Leicestershire where there will be a meeting followed by a joint press conference to announce further details of the murder investigation and whether the head is linked to the body parts found in Herts.
