Police warning after spate of thefts from cars in Royston

A number of cars have been broken into in Royston, prompting police to warn others to secure their vehicles this Christmas.
An iPod was stolen from the glove box of a Ford Focus which was parked and secured on a driveway in The Close overnight between 9.15pm Wednesday and 8.10am on Thursday of last week.
In the same evening, thieves broke into a grey Mazda parked in Kingsway and took a Sat Nav and some coins.
A Sat Nav and loose change was also stolen from a Vauxhall Astra in the same street between 7.30pm on Wednesday and 3.15pm on Thursday.
