ROYSTON residents interested in keeping their community safe are being invited to sign up to Neighbourhood Watch.
Police are holding a Neighbourhood Watch recruitment day so that people can find out how they can make a difference in the town.
Police Community Support Officers Sarah Lamb and Penny Tomsett will be joined representatives from the North Herts Crime Prevention Panel at the day long event.
PCSO Lamb said: "Neighbourhood Watch brings people together to help tackle issues affecting their community.
"Crime is down in Royston and watch schemes can play a vital role in helping to reduce figures even further. Members provide vital information to the police and can really make a difference. Please do come and see us to find out more," she said.
The event will take place at Royston Tesco on Saturday October 24, from 10am - 4pm.
