A RIDE on lawnmower has been taken from a garage in Barrington.

The offence took place between 5pm on Wednesday June 17 and 7am on Friday June 19.

Cambridgeshire police said the thief broke into the garage, at a property in Shepreth Road, Barrington, by breaking a lock at the top of a metal, up and over, garage door.

They then stole the Red Countax lawnmower and it's attached grass catcher, and made off.
