POLICE have named a pensioner who was killed in a crash on the A10 last week.
David Tickner, 83, of The Moor, Melbourn, died after he was in collision with a Mercedes near the junction of the A10 and Royston Road, Melbourn, last Wednesday.
The accident took place at around 4.55pm on Wednesday last week, and the A10 was closed for several hours as police investigated the incident.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 53-year old man from Cottenham, was unharmed.

Pc Chris Breeze, who is investigating the accident, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who was in this area of the A10 on Wednesday night and witnessed this collision."Anyone with information should contact Pc Breeze at the roads policing unit on 0845 456 4564.
