Police hunting ram raid trio as truck driven into Royston Morrisons store to steal cash

Police are still at a Royston supermarket after thieves drove a red truck into a cash machine in the early hours of this morning.

Officers responded to reports of the ram raid at about 2.45am where the offenders – thought to be three men – removed cash from the broken machine at Morrisons in Baldock Street, and left the scene in the truck and a black Audi estate.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact police on non-emergency number 101.
