Police were called to a property in Royston at the weekend after being alerted to concerns for a man’s welfare.

Officers – including armed police – were called at 9.20pm on Sunday to the home in Newman Avenue.

They detained the man, who was assessed by paramedics and has since been referred to mental health services.
