On the A505 there is congestion between the A10 and A505 Royston Road caused by an accident with police having to closed one lane for a short while.
Motorists using the A602 Broadhall Way, Stevenage, joining the A1 (M) at junction 7 faced a slow journey this morning with heavy traffic on both roads.
On the A1 (M) southbound there was slow moving traffic and further south there was heavy traffic either side of the Hatfield Tunnel between junction 4 and 3.
There are also reports of congestion on the A405 North Orbital Road, southbound between the Park Street roundabout and junction 6 of the M1.
On the M25 motorists should expect possible delays between junction 10 the Luton Airport Spur Road and junction 12 at Flitwick and on the M25 there are speed restrictions of 50mph both ways between junction 16 with the M40 and junction 18 Chorley Wood.
