POLIC E cordoned off a lane of the A10 this afternoon after another body part was discovered.

Officers say a member of the public found the body part that has not been identified, in a lay-by on the northbound carriageway of the A10 Puckeridge Bypass at 12.43pm.

Detectives from the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, who are currently investigating the murder of a man whose body parts were found in Hertfordshire at Cottered and Wheathampstead, and Leicestershire, are currently at the scene.

Police say it is too early to say at this stage exactly what has been found, and specialist forensic teams and search officers will be in attendance, and a search of the area will be carried out this afternoon.
