POLICE have charged an 18-year-old man with driving above the alcohol limit after his car struck a wall.

Officers were called to Priory Lane in Royston at 1.28am on Friday, after a black Ford Focus collided with a boundary wall.

The driver was arrested and has now been charged.

He will appear before Stevenage Magistrates on September 19.
