A MOTHER was shoved to the ground in a village street after approaching men she thought were behaving suspiciously.
The woman was with her two young children when she saw the men, described as in their mid-to-late 30s, carrying a bundle of electrical cables in Trap Road, Guilden Morden.
She walked over to them and one of them pushed her to the ground, causing minor injuries.
The pair then got into a silver, old style Vauxhall Vectra and drove away.
The first man is described as white, in his mid-to-late-30s, stocky and tanned. He was wearing a black woolly hat, a black and white checked shirt and black jogging bottoms.
The second man is described as white, in his mid-30s, bald, with a pencil-thin moustache and a heavy build.
DC Ian Butcher investigating said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw the assault take place or anyone who may have seen these men in the area.”
Anyone with information should contact DC Butcher at Sawston Police Station on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
