THE Barkway Players will be flying away on a magic carpet to the mystic east next month in their sixteenth annual pantomime.
Their latest production, The Amazing Adventures of Sinbad, is set in the kingdom of Pantostan and follows the hero and his crew on a dangerous mission to discover the legendary Roc bird.
Edwin Kilby, one of the founding members of the players, said: "When we put on our first show 1993, none of us dreamed that the Barkway pantomime would prove so successful."
The pantomime will raise money to support Barkway Village Hall, where the production is to be staged.
# The Amazing Adventures of Sinbad will be on stage from February 1-2 at 8pm and on February 2 at 2pm.
