PLANS for a new church hall have gone on display.
Royston Parish Church is seeking to build the new hall, and have outline plans up on display in the church.
To fund the project they have been undertaking a fundraising campaign, dubbed cHALLenge, and two recent events have raised more than �2,000 towards the cost of the hall.
A quiz night was held at Royston town hall last weekend, and raised �800, while a concert by the Cambridge Crofters and Cafferkey Irish Dancers saw the church profit to the tune of �1,466.
The next event will be a talk by Cllr F John Smith on the history of Royston parish church.
A spokesman for Royston parish church said: "This is a rare opportunity to see a selection of slides illustrating the unique history of the church."

The talk begins at 8pm on Friday November 6. Entry is free but a collection for the appeal will be taken.
