Young scientists were set a series of challenges this week in celebration of National Science Week.
Pupils at Greneway School, Royston, investigated some of the nation's favourite experiments, as well as designing an eco-friendly city, objects that stayed in the air for 60 seconds, and paper rafts.
Science technician Jan Hodge said: "National Science Week is also being celebrated with competitions, poetry, and jokes.
