The pilot whose plane crashed in a Sussex airshow, suspected of killing up to 20 people, has been named as Andy Hill from Sandon.

The experienced aerobatic flyer is currently in a critical condition in hospital.

The 51-year-old has flown for British Airways, is an RAF instructor and a regular at airshows across the UK.

The Hawker Hunter jet plunged into traffic in a ball of flames on the A27 in West Sussex on Saturday during a loop-the-loop style stunt.

More bodies are expected to be found when the jet is removed later.
