The camera creativity of members of the Royston Photographic Society will soon be in the spotlight with the opening of the group’s annual exhibition.

On display in the upper gallery of Royston Museum will be a record number of 50 framed images from more than 30 members.

There are both colour and mono prints, and many will be for sale.

The club’s David Hatton, said:“This is a going to be a very professional exhibition highlighting the fine range of photo skills possessed by the club’s photographers.

“If features architecture, travel, sports, wildlife and international destinations, showing off the range of skills and methods members use to capture arresting images.

“It’s a great way for the club to showcase its talents, especially those of its many new members.

“Each picture is supported by printed information about the inspiration behind the image, often with insights into how the photographer set up the shot.

“It’s also a chance for visitors to purchase a really affordable sample of local art to display at home.”

The free exhibition at the Lower King Street museum opens on Saturday, March 19, and runs through to the middle of May.
