An a capella group of women from Herts, Beds and Cambs are stopping off in Stevenage for a show, before flying off to the USA for an international event.
Around 70 women make up the Phoenix Chorus, which is based in Potton.
The group were silver medalists at a national competition held last year, and will be competing against choruses from around the world in the Sweet Adelines International Barbershop Competition in St Louis in October.
Phoenix perform arrangements in four-part close harmony, and sing songs from musicals, films and contemporary numbers by the likes of Adele and Queen.
Previously the chorus have performed at The Royal Albert Hall, collecting medals and awards along the way.
As part of their preparation, they have an anniversary show at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased from www.gordon-craig.co.uk.
