A PHARMACY in Royston opened its new facilities last Thursday (December 7) after refurbishments were completed.
The work at Lloyds pharmacy, on Church Lane, took three weeks to finish.
Pharmacy manager Evangelia Kalfa said that the improvements would help give a better service to customers.
She said: "We have changed the layout of the pharmacy and increased the size of the dispensary.
"We now have a room for doing things like diabetes tests so the customers can have privacy if they want to talk to the pharmacist"
Royston Town Mayor Lynn Berry, who cut the ribbon at the opening, said that she was impressed by what she saw.
She said: "I think it is tremendous. They have catered for everybody's needs. The disabled access is superb and the private consultation room will be great for the patients.
