Patient power at Royston Health Centre

Patients at a Royston doctors are invited to have their say on the way the practice is run at bi-monthly meetings.

The Patient Reference Group at Royston Health Centre meets every two months on a Monday evening at the surgery in Melbourn Street and the group is on the look out for new members.

The purpose of the team is to provide feedback to the doctors and management to help them provide the best service to meet the patient’s needs.

PRG member Alan Addison said: “At present there are a limited number of us that attend these meetings. We would like to encourage more people of all age groups and genders to come forward to have some say in providing what they see as relevant feedback.”

Membership is open to all patients at the health centre.

It’s best to arrive about 10 minutes early for the meetings, there is no membership fee and all it requires is one hour of your time every two months.

The next meeting will be on Monday, September 28, at 7pm.
