Emergency services are still at the scene and the road remains closed after a fatal car fire this morning on the M11.
Police were called at about 8.10am to reports of a car on fire at the southbound carriageway near Junction 12 just after Barton.
One man is believed to have been in the vehicle.
The southbound carriageway remains closed between Junction 12 and Junction 11.
