MELDRETH's parish council clerk is giving up the role after seven years.
Pauline Penfold, 60, has decided to step down - and now the parish council is looking for a successor.
She said: "The thing I enjoyed most was the involvement in the village and meeting people.
"It will be nice, though, to have some time to myself."
Pauline, who has lived in Meldreth since 1970, will use her spare time to do what she loves most - gardening and playing the organ at Meldreth and Melbourn churches.
