All tickets for the Eversden Players pantomime King Arthur were sold a week before the performance. The scene featuring Bob Beynon, above, as Queen Guinevere, and Tony Richford as King Arthur was guaranteed to bring the house down.

King Arthur's wicked sister Morgana played by Lyn Chiswell held the play together with her frequent audience contact to appeal to the children.

Never has such a lavish display of costumes been seen in Great Eversden Village Hall all gathered together by wardrobe mistress Pat Walmsley.
