An author from Orwell is set to release her first children’s book with a reputable publishing group.
Maria Sproulle penned science fiction novel Max’s Marvellous Journey To The Moon, set to be published by Pegasus Publishers, about a young boy who dreams of going ‘where no one would bother him’ – to the moon.
Born in Germany, Maria lived in Eastern Canada, the USA and then Western Canada where she met her British husband. In 1978 they moved to the UK where she taught languages at a private school before becoming head of department.
She currently volunteers at Petersfield Church of England Primary School.
